Take Card Payments Directly from Your Shop-Ware Work Order
Payment Bridge reads the open repair order in Shop-Ware, auto-fills the amount, and sends the charge to your Dejavoo terminal — one click, no retyping, no tab switching, no walking to the front desk.
Payment Bridge is a Chrome extension that sits inside your browser alongside Shop-Ware. When a repair order is ready to close, it reads the total automatically and lets your service advisor hit Charge — activating the Dejavoo P1 terminal at the front desk without anyone leaving their station.
- Amount auto-filled from the open work order — zero typing required
- Charge goes directly to the Dejavoo P1 terminal at the front desk
- Approval confirmed in seconds and logged automatically
- Each employee logs in with their own 6-digit sub-user PIN
What the Shop-Ware Integration Does
When a repair order is ready to close in Shop-Ware, Payment Bridge reads the total from the page your service advisor already has open. No copy-paste, no switching to a separate payment app — the amount is already there in the side panel.
Your advisor clicks Charge. The Dejavoo P1 terminal at the front desk activates. The customer taps or swipes. The approval — including the authorization code, payment method, and reference number — comes back to the panel within seconds.
The transaction is logged automatically. No manual entry step. Close the work order and you’re done.
- Reads the repair order total from the Shop-Ware page automatically
- Sends the charge to your Dejavoo P1 terminal with one click
- Returns approval details — no manual entry required to close the ticket
Four Steps from Open Work Order to Paid
The whole flow takes about 30 seconds from the moment your service advisor opens the work order to the moment the approval comes back.
Open the work order in Shop-Ware
Payment Bridge detects the open repair order and reads the invoice total automatically. The amount appears in the side panel — your service advisor doesn’t type anything.
Confirm the amount and click Charge
Your advisor glances at the side panel to confirm the amount, selects the terminal if your shop has more than one, and clicks Charge. One click.
Terminal activates at the front desk
The Dejavoo P1 terminal activates immediately. The customer taps, swipes, or inserts their card. No one needs to walk over and manually enter an amount on the terminal.
Approved — transaction logged automatically
The approval comes back to the side panel in seconds: authorization code, payment method, and reference number captured. Close the work order. Done.
Exactly What Your Front Desk Needs
Every feature exists to solve a specific problem your service advisors run into during checkout — not to add complexity.
No manual retyping
The amount comes directly from the open work order in Shop-Ware. There is zero chance of typing the wrong number into the terminal.
No tab switching
Payment Bridge lives in a Chrome side panel. Your service advisor never leaves the Shop-Ware page — no separate app, no second window, no alt-tab.
No walking to the terminal
The charge activates your front desk Dejavoo terminal remotely. Your advisor stays at their station throughout the entire transaction.
Transactions logged automatically
Authorization code, payment method, and reference number are captured the moment the approval comes back — no manual note-taking or re-entry.
Sub-user PIN login
Each employee gets their own 6-digit PIN. Shared workstations stay accountable — you always know who ran which transaction.
No new hardware required
Payment Bridge works with the Dejavoo P1 terminal you already have at your front desk. No new equipment to buy or lease.
Does This Work with My Existing Terminal?
Yes — if you have a Dejavoo P1 terminal and your payment processor has iPosPays/SPIn enabled, you are ready to connect. No new hardware. No equipment swap.
SPIn (Smart POS Integration) is a software feature built into the Dejavoo P1 that allows external applications to send charge instructions directly to the terminal. Most payment processors can activate it the same day you request it.
If you are not sure whether your processor supports it, reach out to us. We can confirm compatibility before you commit to anything.
- Dejavoo P1 terminal (the most common Dejavoo model in auto repair shops)
- iPosPays/SPIn enabled by your payment processor — usually activated same day
- Chrome browser on Windows or macOS
- Shop-Ware account on any current plan
Common Questions from Shop-Ware Shops
What payment terminals does Payment Bridge support with Shop-Ware?
Payment Bridge currently supports the Dejavoo P1 terminal with iPosPays/SPIn enabled. SPIn (Smart POS Integration) is a feature built into the Dejavoo P1 that your existing payment processor activates on the terminal you already own — no new hardware is required.
Most processors can enable SPIn the same day you request it. If you are not sure whether your processor supports it, contact us and we will confirm before you sign up for anything.
Does Payment Bridge work with multiple workstations in one shop?
Yes. Payment Bridge can be installed on as many Chrome browsers in your shop as needed — front desk, service writer stations, manager’s office. Each workstation connects to the same Dejavoo P1 terminal at the front desk.
Each employee logs in with their own sub-user PIN, so you always have a clear record of who processed which transaction.
Does Payment Bridge store card data?
No. Card data is processed directly by your Dejavoo terminal and payment processor. Payment Bridge never sees, handles, or stores cardholder data at any point in the transaction.
Payment Bridge reads only the repair order total from the Shop-Ware page and sends the charge instruction to the terminal. The card itself never touches Payment Bridge.
Does setting up Payment Bridge with Shop-Ware require IT or technical configuration?
No IT team needed. Payment Bridge installs as a Chrome extension — no server configuration, no API keys to manage on your end, no changes to your Shop-Ware account.
The Payment Bridge team handles the full setup during a white-glove onboarding session. We configure your account, walk your team through every screen, and stay on the call until you have run at least one successful live transaction. Most shops are fully set up within 48 hours of the kickoff call.
How does Payment Bridge read data from Shop-Ware?
Payment Bridge reads the repair order data directly from the Shop-Ware page that is already open in your Chrome browser — the same page your service advisors use every day. It works like a browser extension that understands how Shop-Ware lays out its pages.
There is no API configuration required, no webhook setup, and no changes needed to your Shop-Ware account or subscription.
